Great news about Alfi, although he has not been rehomed we still have a happy ending as his owners decided that they would like to keep him and will do so with the support of one of our consultants ( & Director ), Gill Tuxworth
Amber has been adopted by her loving foster carers.
Amber really did need a very special and knowledgeable home which was almost impossible to find...turns out she was in it all the time!
Amber had been with us for quite a long time being one of our long term foster cases needing specialist care and rehabilitation which she received in bucket loads with Lynn & Carol of www.verynicedogs.co.uk
Within their special care they have been able to bring her from a withdrawn dog who tried to bury herself when stressed to the dog you see on this video confidently playing in water, ice cold water it was too. Amber Takes and Icy Splash
Super cute Molly Beagle has moved into her Forever Home and has a lovely new family of her own again.
Great news...Benjy is no longer looking for his forever home!
Wishing 'Beautiful Benjy Big Hair', as he is affectionately referred to in our office, lots of luck in his new life.
Here are some pictures of Willow with her new family. Pat and Ken have had previous experience with rescue dogs and they, like us, they think a dog is for life.
We don't know why Willow has been overlooked in kennels before, still a young dog she is just dying to learn and have her own family to bond with. She is going to be a real gem of a dog for Pat & Ken and a wonderful anniversary present to each other.
Happy Anniversary to Pat, Ken & Willow xx
There is no doubt that Willow has landed on her paws!
Mollie is a very special girl and came into Every Chance Rescue after being saved by the Born Free Foundation (here is her story) Mollie had settled so very well with her foster carer that when a new home was found it was decided that they just could not part with her! Mollie now lives happily in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire with her new carer, Cath, and Mollie is a firm favourite with everyone she meets.

Our lovely Brindle Staffie x Guy has now found his Forever Home with Steve and Amanda. Guy was very badly stressed when he first arrived and was in a very poor state. Due to stress at the pound Guy used to chase his tail so he had open wounds and he weighed just 13 kgs! What a difference a kind and loving home can make. Thank you Steve and Amanda
Happy Easter to Jack and his new family The Hudson's, who agreed to foster Jack for a short while but immediately fell in love and that was that.
Jack really needed a family like this, his own people who he could trust to make all the important decisions in life so he could just enjoy being a dog. Early experiences with humans had been negative but no one will hurt him again and if they try then we are reliably informed that Beth knows all the Kung Fu Panda moves so they had just better watch out!
Candy has found her forever home with a couple who think she is just great.
Candy's new home is in the countryside and she has lots of gaden and outdoor space to explore when she has fully settled in. What a wonderful ending for a dog that has been through so much and with a new canine companion too, life is going to be sweet for Candy from now on!
Candy spent a lot of time with us in the ECR office when she first came to stay and so we are particularly looking forwardto seeing pictures of her in her new home.
Max was first adopted early in 2009 and had a very good life in a loving home but sadly his owner passed away and her wish was that he returned to us at ECR to be found the special home that he so deserved and so Max began the journey again.
We were thrilled when after only a short time someone enquired about him and he has now been rehomed with a very nice lady who we know Max will be a great friend and companion to.
The cheeky but adorable Rolo has been adopted! How someone could abandon such a sweetheart like this boy we will never know but now in his Forever Home with his friend Whit, Rolo has really been able to let his character show and his funny exploits keep Carol and everyone entertained just as they did when he was with us at Pond Farm. If ever there was a picture of a happy dog I think this one on the left could be it!
We all miss him very much, especially Jan, but knowing he is happy makes us all happy too.
Sadly Whit passed away in Autumn 2010 but now Carol and Rolo have a new young life to keep them on their toes, a GSD puppy named Kira.
Thanks to Dan & Debbie, Jesse who was always such a smiley dog will be smiling even wider now she has been officially adopted by her foster carers.
We know she will have a great life with them!
Rolo, (one of our most helpful assistants in the ECR office) is now in his forever home. We hear both he and his new carer, Alwyn, are looking forward to a wonderful Summer 2010 ....watching the World Cup!
Rolo has already shown pretty good ball skills when playing on our field so will be the perfect companion for football and we are sure he will pick up one or two fancy new moves too!
Thank you Alwyn for giving Roly the chance in life he really needed.
Our beautiful Sadie has found her Forever Home. She went to stay with Chaser and Dan for the weekend and they all liked each other so much that she stayed.

2010 had been a good year for Ruddie already but Easter 2010 was wonderful as his signed adoption papers were exchanged!
When Ruddie was first looking for his forever home with us at ECR we said he was 'special' and since being fostered at Christmas he has gained a new lease of life, trimmed and slimmed by his DL Foster carer in return Ruddie stole Pam's heart.
Thank you Pam for giving a dog many have overlooked, just for being he was a little older, a happy future.
Jake didn't have to wait too long with ECR until a nice lady spotted him and knew he and she were going to be great companions.
This is what she had to say after adopting Jake... "He is a great little character who loves to play and have long walks on our local beaches in East Lothian, Scotland. Jake has proved to love children and is very sociable with people and other dogs and is therefore a pleasure to be out and about with. I am normally not very mobile but having Jake has made me go walking albeit slowly but he certainly has improved my lifestyle."
Khan has just found his forever home and after just one week here he his pictured by his very own fireplace ....and with his new friend Whit.
Thank you Carol, for giving such beautiful dog like Khan a forever home.
Sadly in Early Summer 2010 Khan passed away, Whit also passed away in late Autumn 2010, still loved and not forgotten.
Penny is now in her forever home
Penny or Lady P as she is nicknamed has weaved her spell, resulting in her foster home who already have two dogs of their own deciding to adopt her. The main reason which caused her to come into rescue, with the right guidance has disappeared. The young dog, who would be concerned about almost everything, is now happy and relaxed. Penny maybe small but she is full of personality. She is very smart and learns quickly. As you can see she loves football. She has had her family in tears of laughter with the odd position she gets her ears into, looking like she is wearing a hair piece at times. Penny has learnt that life is so much more fun when you relax and enjoy the moments. More photo’s to follow soon.
Maggie came to Lincolnshire and into a Foster home where she proved to have a beautiful nature and was happy to be with other dogs. Only having sight in one eye was not a problem to Maggie and soon she was rehomed with a family that included another dog as companion.
Our last update was that Maggie had enjoyed a beach holiday with them and also enjoys an evening walk to the local pub!
.Both Romeo and Tink have had a long journey,
Tink having been in the Rescue system since 14 weeks old and Romeo rescued from the M6 having been being hit by a car. They have both now been adopted by their foster carer so will never have to look for a new home again.
Bracken has found a lovely family who will love him forever.
As soon as we have pictures of Bracken with his new friends we will post them here.
Thank you to everyone who has followed Brackens story.
Dina spending her first Christmas in her new home
A far cry from the Romanian Zoo where she had spent all of her formative years!
Dina has settled in so well with her new family and is learning that humans can be the bearers of love and understanding.
Over a year on as part of Jenni and Mark's family, we have some lovely photo's to update you on just what Dina did on her family Summer Holiday 2009.
Thank you to Jenni and Mark for helping a dog that many others would have walked away from.
